10.2.2.3 Average Input Current Limit

The average input current is set by selecting the correct external resistor value correlating to the required current limit. Equation 5 is a guideline for selecting the correct resistor value.

For a current limit of 500 mA the resistor value is 20 kΩ

To allow maximum current limit (1500 mA) the ILIM pin can be directly connected to VIN. If ILIM is connected to GND the minimum current (100 mA) limit is set.
