6.2.2.3 SMPS Inductors

Again, to ensure stability across the entire switching frequency range, using a 1-µH inductor on each SMPS is recommended. Remember that each SMPS requires an inductor, not just each output rail. For example, SMPS12 is a dual-phase regulator and an inductor is required for the SMPS1_SW pins and the SMPS2_SW pins. See Table 6-2 for the specific part number of the recommended inductor.
