7.3.7 Diagnostics

The TPS92621-Q1 device provides advanced diagnostics and fault-protection features for automotive exterior lighting systems. The device can detect and protect fault from LED-string short-to-GND, LED-string open-circuit and junction overtemperature scenarios. The device also supports a one-fails-all-fail fault bus design that can flexibly fit different regulatory requirements.
