7.6.21 FEN2 Register

Fault Enable-2 register, FEN2, determines which of the faults shown in Table 7-23 are enabled. If a fault enable is set to '1', it is enabled and it will affect the operation of the associated channel. The faults that are disabled will not affect the CHx fault pin output.

  • OVOPT: if set to '1', the OV fault is only captured by the analog block and the digital state machine is not affected by the overvoltage fault.
  • CHxOCEN: if set to '1', output overcurrent fault is enabled.
  • CHxILIMEN: if set to '1', ILIM fault is enabled.
  • CHxISOEN: if set to '1', ISN open pin fault is enabled.

If 2PH is set to '1', only CH1 parameter is used.
