The RT pin can be connected to
AGND for a switching frequency of 2.2 MHz or tied to VCC for a switching
frequency of 1 MHz. A resistor connected between the RT pin and GND can be used
to set the desired operating frequency between 200 kHz and 2.2 MHz.
For the MODE/SYNC pin variant,
connecting this pin to an external clock forces the device into SYNC operation.
Connecting the MODE/SYNC pin low allows the device to operate in PFM mode at
light load. Connecting the MODE/SYNC pin high puts the device into FPWM mode
and allows full frequency operation independent of load current.
A resistor divider network on the EN pin can be added for a precision input
undervoltage lockout (UVLO)
For fixed output voltage
variants, connect FB/BIAS pin to VOUT.
Place a 1-µF capacitor between the VCC pin and PGND, located near to the
device.
A pullup resistor between the PGOOD pin and a valid voltage source to generate a
power-good signal.
