8.4.1 Disable Pin

Setting the DIS pin high shuts down both outputs simultaneously. Pull the DIS pin low (or left open) allows UCC21220 and UCC21220A to operate normally. The DIS pin is quite responsive, as far as propagation delay and other switching parameters are concerned (See Figure 6-22). The DIS pin is only functional (and necessary) when VCCI stays above the UVLO threshold. It is recommended to tie this pin to GND if the DIS pin is not used to achieve better noise immunity.
