7.3.5.1.1.1 Analog Built-In Self Test (ABIST)

The device automatically runs diagnostics on all of the under-voltage and over-voltage comparators monitoring VCC1, VCC2, VEE2, and internal regulators during the power up process. During the self-test of the comparators, an over-voltage and under-voltage condition is simulated. The actual monitored voltage rails remain unchanged and the disturbance is not observable. A failure in the ABIST for the primary side sets the STATUS2[BIST_PRI_FAULT] (STATUS2) and for the secondary side sets the SATUS4[BIST_SEC_FAULT] (STATUS4).
