7.4.2.7.1 Analog Diagnosis

The ADS8686S supports monitoring of the internal nodes AVDD and ALDO, respectively, along with the 16 analog inputs, AIN_nA and AIN_nB, by using the SAR ADCs. These channels can be monitored in the software mode of operation by programming the channel register (see the Section 7.6 section) to the corresponding channel identifier. The diagnostic channels can also be added to the sequencer stack.

Equation 2 defines the expected output for each diagnostic channel. Figure 7-20 and Figure 7-21 show the transfer function for each diagnostic channel.
