7.3.4 Power Up REGN LDO

The REGN LDO supplies internal bias circuits and power FET gate drivers. The pull-up rail of INT can be connected to REGN as well. The REGN LDO is enabled when all the following conditions are met:

  1. VBUS above VBUS_UVLOZ
  2. VBUS above VBAT + VSLEEPZ
  3. VBUS below VVBUS_OV
  4. VBAT above VBAT_LOWV
  5. EN_CHG bit = 1
  6. ICHG ≠ 0 A

If one of the above conditions is not met, the device is in high impedance mode (HIZ) with REGN LDO off. The device draws less than IVBUS_HIZ from VBUS in this state.
