7.3.2 Setting LED Current

The LED current is set by the external sensing resistor between CSP and CSN pins. The internal voltage reference, VREF, for instance, is set at 200mV for full-scale LED current, ILED_FS, and the sensing resistor can be calculated using the equation below.

  • VREF = 200mV

An offset on VREF need to be considered due to voltage drop on RFLT with common-mode leakage current of CSP and CSN pins.
