1.2 Kit Contents

Table 2-1 lists the contents of the EVM kit. Contact Texas Instruments Customer Support if any component is missing.

Note that this EVM requires the TI Sensor Control Board (SCB), which is sold separately.

Currently, there are two versions to the EVMs: version E1 and version A. This is because not all device variants are being fully released at the same time. Version A is functionally and thermally equivalent to E1 except for the following:

  • Device U1 is part of the full release inventory and performs according to the corresponding data sheet
  • Header J4 and shunt H5 are included to optionally open the ALERT bus
  • Lugs MP1 and MP2 are included with associated hardware MP3, MP4, MP5, and MP6

Until all devices have been fully released, this document covers both versions.
