In this mode, the internal reference is connected to R13. Charge Pump (CP) is used to generate fractional voltages on R23, R24 (only in 1/4 bias mode) and R13. The voltage developed on R33 will be either 3 × VREFint or 4 × VREFint, depending on whether 1/3 or 1/4 bias mode is used. In addition, two more pins LOADCAP0/1 are required to connect an external load cap for charge pump functioning.
MMR | Description | Value |
---|---|---|
LCDCPEN | Charge pump enabled | 1 |
LCDSELVDD | Disable VDD connection to R33 | 0 |
LCDSEL_VDD_R33 | Select R33 to drive Vlcd | 0 |
LCDINTBIASEN | Disable internal resistor | 0 |
LCDVREFEN | Internal reference enabled | 1 |
LCDREFMODE | Could be 0/1 depending on whether sampled or continuous mode is used in internal reference circuit | 0/1 |
VLCDx | VLCDx voltage setting, the voltage level on V5 and in turn VLCD can be adjusted within a range depending on the VLCDx setting. This is used to control the contrast. | Any value in the range |
