8.3.8 SPI Master

The SPI master provides a serial interface to an optional, external flash memory. The optional flash memory can be used to store code patches and or device configurations. The recommended memory is the W25X05CL (64 KB) serial-flash memory. A memory of at least (24 KB) is required for the TPS65982BB device (shared or unshared) if device configuration and patch memory features are used.
