25.2.15.2 Power Management Using Power Down Mode

In the power down mode, the EMIF drives EM1SDCKE low to lower the power consumption. EM1SDCKE goes high when there is a need to send refresh (REFR) commands, after which EM1SDCKE is again driven low. EM1SDCKE remains low until any request arrives. Refer to Section 25.2.5.8 for more details on placing the EMIF in power-down mode.
