3.7.1.4 Auxiliary Clock Input (AUXCLKIN)

An additional external clock source is supported on GPIO133 (AUXCLKIN). This must be a single-ended 3.3V external clock and can be used as the clock source for the USB, CAN, and Communication Manager Subsystem. Frequency limits and timing requirements can be found in the TMS320F2838x Real-Time Microcontrollers With Connectivity Manager Data Sheet . The external clock must be connected directly to the GPIO133 pin, as shown in Figure 3-9.
