10.3.2 VCCx / V1P8Vx Power

If VCCx is connected to external 2.4 to 5.0-V supply, with V1P8Vx generated through the internal 1.8-V LDO, the power dissipated is VCCx × IVCCx.

If VCCx and V1P8Vx are are shorted together and connected to an external 1.8-V supply, the power dissipated due to this supply is V1P8Vx × I1P8Vx.
