Example Measurement

An example of a 1,000V battery measurement is shown in Figure 2-2. The EVM is populated with the RES60A500-Q1 and provides a voltage division ratio of 500:1. Applying 1,000V to the RES60A500-Q1 voltage divider results in a 2V potential seen at the non-inverting terminal of the OPA320-Q1. The OPA320-Q1 is configured as a buffer and therefore a voltage of 2V is seen at the OPA320-Q1 output.
