Line-Side Output Cable Driver (SDI_IO+ in CD mode, SDI_OUT+ in EQ or CD mode)

The LMH1297 has two output cable driver (CD) blocks, one for SDI_IO in CD mode and another for SDI_OUT. These SDI outputs are designed to drive 75-Ω single-ended coaxial cables at data rates up to 11.88 Gbps. Both SDI_IO and SDI_OUT feature an integrated 75-Ω termination and return loss compensation network for meeting stringent SMPTE return loss requirements (see Figure 7-8).
