STA configuration is done by using a host driver API while the SimpleLink Wi-Fi device is in STA mode. Some of the configurations are also available through the internal ROM HTTP server (see Section 10 for details and the configuration table).
There are several configurations for each specific use case. Some of the configurations are persistent according to the system-persistent configuration, and some are nonpersistent as specified in each configuration specification (more information is in Section B).
Table 5-2 lists the default parameters in station mode. The default configurations are not mandatory and can be changed by the user.
