9.1.3.2 Static Pages With Host Tokens

Host tokens are similar to device tokens, except that the substitution of each token is deferred to the host through an asynchronous event. This lets users create pages containing dynamic content with minimal host involvement, because the major and static part of the web page is stored on the file system and only small dynamic parts are handled by the host. This can be seen in Figure 10-6.
