Overview
With a size of 45 mm x 45 mm, the iesy AM62xx OSM-LF offers a variety of application options. The operating system used here is an open source Linux based on Yocto. The AM62x processor enabled systems with high security functions to be realized for industrial and automotive applications. The processor offers secure boot for IP protection with the integrated hardware security module (HSM).
Other notable advantages are the main memory (LPDDR4) with ECC, the security co-processor ARM Cortex-M4F and the hardware cryptography accelerator for AES and SHA2, among others. In addition to numerous other interfaces, the iesy AM625x offers OSM-LF, like all open standard modules ™, the ability to respond flexibly to requirements and is therefore future-proof, cost-effective and scalable.
The Open Standard Modules™ specification was adopted by the SGeT e.V. in 2019. The new standard was developed to meet future requirements in terms of flexibility, scalability, and cost.
