This design implements a digitally peak current mode controlled (PCMC) phase shifted full bridge (PSFB) DC-DC converter which converts a 400-V DC input to a regulated 12-V DC output. Novel PCMC waveform generation based on type-4 PWM and internal slope compensation, and simple PCMC implementation are the highlights of this design. A TMS320F280049C MCU from the C2000 real-time microcontroller family is used.
Features
- Peak current mode control (PCMC) with no external support circuitry for PCMC function
- Zero-voltage switching (ZVS) or low-voltage switching (LVS)
- Multiple synchronous rectification (SR) switching schemes
