8.6 Reference-Voltage Temperature-Drift Measurement

Internal reference-voltage temperature drift is defined as the maximum change in reference voltage measured over the specified temperature range. The reference voltage drift is calculated using the box method, as described by Equation 6:

Equation 6. Reference Drift = (VREFMAX – VREFMIN) / (VREFNOM · (TMAX – TMIN) ) · 106 (ppm)

where

  • VREFMAX, VREFMIN and VREFNOM are the maximum, minimum and nominal (TA = 25°C) reference voltages, respectively
  • TMAX and TMIN are the maximum and minimum temperatures, respectively, over the specified temperature range
