8.1 Application Information

The LM76002/LM76003 is a step-down DC-DC converter. It is typically used to convert a higher DC voltage to a lower DC voltage with a maximum output current of 3.5 A. The following design procedure can be used to select component values for the LM76002/LM76003. Alternately, the WEBENCH® software may be used to generate a complete design. The WEBENCH software uses an iterative design procedure and accesses a comprehensive database of components when generating a design (see Custom Design With WEBENCH® Tools).
