9.1 Application Information

The following section discusses selection of the external components to complete the power supply design for typical a application.

The required power inductor is integrated inside the TPSM8287A1xM, as shown in the block diagram. The integrated shielded inductor inductance and tolerance are found in Table 4-1. All TPSM8287A1xM versions are pin-to-pin compatible, though the inductance and frequency is different between the versions. Check the values for the specific device before starting the design procedure below.
