5.1.1.2 Trigonometric Math Unit

Each R5F core for all AM261 devices comes with a Trigonometric Math Unit (TMU). This hardware accelerator extends the capabilities of the R5F by speeding up the execution of common trigonometric and arithmetic operations. Table 5-3 provides a list of the available instructions in the TMU.
