9.3.1.4 Total Power Dissipation

The total power dissipation (PTOT) is calculated as the sum of the power dissipation in full-bridges (PDRV), power dissipation due to switching losses in FET's (PSW) and power losses due to quiescent current consumption (PQ) as shown in Equation 16.

Now, by putting values of PDRV, PSW and PQ from Equation 5, Equation 10 and Equation 15 in Equation 16, the total power dissipation (PTOT) is calculated as shown in Equation 17.
