This test examines EUT’s power source circuit classifications, potential ignition sources, safeguards against fire under normal operating and abnormal operation conditions, safeguards against fire under single fault conditions and internal and external wiring, and so forth. Testing the EUT is required to measure input power to the EUT to determine the power classification and potential ignition sources. The EUT is configured to its intended operational mode in the frequency band being investigated. The configuration and mode of operation used in the measurement is noted in the test report.
