Overview

The AM2x BLDC Servo Motor BoosterPack plug-in module is an add-on for the AM2x LaunchPad development kits. This BoosterPack provides up to two axes of 24V/8A BLDC driver, ADC/SDFM current feedback, industrial absolute encoder, and resolver feedback. 

Features
  • Form-Factor: BOOST-XL TI BoosterPack design compatible with LP-AM243 and LP-AM263 LaunchPads.                        
  • BLDC 3-Phase Motor Drive: 2x DRV8316R 24V/8A, Integrated FET BLDC Motor Driver.                      
  • Current Feedback: Up to two-axes of digital current feedback through SDFM PRU interface or direct current feedback.             
  • Absolute Encoder Feedback: Up to two axes of RS-485 based absolute encoder feedback supporting multiple industrial encoder standards. Resolver Excitation and Feedback: Single-axis of resolver feedback.

Analog switches & muxes
TMUX1574 5-V, 2:1 (SPDT), 4-channel analog switch with powered-off protection & 1.8-V input logic
