Overview

This reference design shows a four-input bidirectional 1.6kW GaN-based microinverter with energy storage capability.

  • High-power density
  • High-switching frequency to enable small passive EMI filter components
  • Any channel can either operate as PV input or 48V battery storage
  • Single chip controller with one C2000 MCU (DC/AC, DC/DC, MPPT)
  • Good common mode isolation with Isolated DC/DC topology
