2.2 Thermocouple Measurement With Biasing Resistors Attached to the Negative Lead

Another topology for biasing the thermocouple would be to attach the biasing resistors to a single end of the thermocouple. This removes any biasing current through long resistive thermocouple leads, reducing any added voltage error, but requires a separate burn-out sensor measurement.
